building the 1Khz modulator for the signal gen inspired me to do this, well kind of, i already had it on my mind, but i guess it gave me the incentive to go ahead with it, lol

pulled a cobra 29 down saturday to play with. Was gonna see if I could add this mod to it. In process of testing the radio D8 exploded. Replaced D8 and checked driver and final and no problems there. So have to check out rest of the circuit to see whats up.
