I may head for the mountains, if I don\'t participate with the club here in town. My goal is to find a cool shady spot, high elevation, cool stream and a comfy spot for the dog to snore all day. What are you guys going to do?

Sounds like fun.
Myself, probably nothing. Have not been to FD in years.

I will be visiting two of the local radio club\'s field day sites. At one of them I will be meeting with the ARRL MN Section Manager.

I will be operating 1C from here http://www.alleneasler.com/issa.html

I will try to work a lot of 60m channel 4, if it\'s not too busy, just so that I am in a spot where I am easily found.

We\'re having Field Day at one of the Fire Stations.  I\'ll ride up there for a while and eat a hamburger.  I may try and work some 6 and 10 here from the house.  Tom, I\'ll look for you on 60.

Well, 60m was as dead as a box of hammers, so I worked 15m from Stumphouse Mountain. Did a lot of listening, made about 20 contacts, would have likely made more if I had remembered to go back to 100w from 5w after tuning up. :arf2:

Stopped by FD at our Civic Center where our local club was set up. Almost died of boredom so I came home and downloaded the camera. I will post pictures to my web site.

One of the local tv crews stopped out to the FD site and interviewed George N8EUY, there is also footage in the background of them raising the beams we had mounted to a short tower section in a bucket truck.
