Buddy I' ll let you know after Christmas, as my daughter has bought me one,I've only heard good things about them  from someone in the club I'm a member of, they do have limitations and can't be compared to the proper S/A that sits here.

I asked over there couple days ago with no replies. I will check more of his video's to see if I can locate one.

Main question is will it work for CB repair. 60 MHz covers it but what about all the other specs?

CB Radio Repair Forum / Cobra 29 S-Meter not showing recieve

If you ever run into a problem on a cobra 29 LTD where the S-Meter is working on Cal, SWR and RF out but not showing any receive in then check diode  D316 to fix this problem.

I put together an older computer just for this software yesterday then loaded the program on it. So far it seems to be really good. I will update as things roll along. If you have an old XP system this program will work very good on it. No need to throw that old computer in the trash when it can be used as a test unit for your work bench.

I agree with Jim on this one. I've had my shop going where I'm located now for 21 years and my tech passed away leaving me in a mess. One just never knows when its your time to go!  Anyway there is a lot more to this game then just opening up a shop and making it happen. There is no way someone can just call you to explain how to work on radio's. This is something you will have to work and study on for a long time to make it happen.  Way to many hack shops out there as it is. Its best to earn trust from folks knowing you know what your doing. If you have the funds to hire a good tech and learn from him would be a great way to get started.
