I like that.  A hot first lady, and a hot 2nd lady.  U reckon McCains heart can handle all that heat?

If not, then we\'ll have a hot President.
Maybe THAT is the secret to international relations.

He moved them, yet still has our nations colors there.

What about McCain? Did he EVER have it on HIS tail wing?
Their flags are the same size.

A quick note (yes straying from topic): I noticed Obama had HIS flag pin on during his acceptance speech, but McCain was without one announcing his VP pick.

Hmmm....
He wasn\'t "wearing his nations colors"

Who accused you of that?   Why are you so paranoid?  Or is that a Demoratic thing?

I simply stated that I didn\'t photoshop them since you questioned when and where they were taken. But that\'s not what matters, what matters is he is wearing the colors of his country, right?

Care to get this thread back on track about the plane? The fact is he DOES have the flag on his campaign plane.

Obama has stated that he supports the Gang of 10 nonpartisan plan which calls for limited drilling, and expansion of renewable energy sources and deadline for higher fuel economy, he has stated that the drilling for oil still isn\'t to his liking, but a compromise with renewable energy being a key player in the future, is a step in the right direction.

He isn\'t making a decision to drill all out for oil, he is supporting a compromise that would allow limited drilling under scrutiny by environmental agencies, in exchange for the growth of renewable energy, and higher fuel economy standard for cars.

Nonpartisan-ship gets stuff done. Holding out till you get what you want doesn\'t.

My you\'re switching gears quickly. :icon_rolleyes:

I\'ll let you wallow in your shenanigans, I\'m going to partake in a p***ing match on someone\'s patriotism. It\'s childish.

I have better things to do.

McCain never had the flag on his tail wing.
And the flag on his plane is the same size of Obamas.

What colors are on Obama\'s O? RED WHITE AND BLUE, which alone symbolize the country.

Nothing like that on McCain\'s tail wing.

Debate Forum / The plan for approving same sex marriages.
« on: July 15, 2008, 01:04:22 PM »
I\'ll engage in my normal relationships with the opposite sex (I\'m straight dude), and let people who are homosexual do the same with people they care about, that\'s what I\'ll do.

The question is: You say God says that, but should we run our country by that?

I\'m an atheist, should I have to live my life by laws I don\'t believe in? What about Islam? Should someone Jewish have to live life by laws they don\'t believe in?

We can\'t have a free country if we run our country by a supreme being that we don\'t all believe in. You Christians say Islam is an evil practice because some of them force their beliefs on others, buy making laws based on a Church\'s religious beliefs, isn\'t that the same? Because that\'s what goes on in the Middle-east, many laws are based on Islam, and we say that\'s wrong. So is it wrong because you disagree with Islam? Or because we think it\'s wrong for people to be governed with laws that were set by a "supreme being" that not everyone may believe in?

Should our country have laws and rights based on what\'s fair, or what a fairy tale not everyone believes tells us is fair?

People can be persecuted. People can die. But what can never die is a belief.

Seems when Kennedy was Prez, there was a real threat.  We can\'t say that it wont\' happen again, though I am sure we would catch it in time.

That was then this is now.

What about the Russians? Germans? They were a threat. North? South? British? French and Indians?

How about we keep a close eye on all of them and not trust em\' because they were once a threat.

The cuban PEOPLE are not the ones we should worry about.   It is the GOV\'T who will take the resources, with their help from EURASIA.   And slant drilling is for real, and they WILL do it.  Probably already are as we speak.  Remember, the Castros aren\'t paupers, just the common people are.

Cuba isn\'t a threat to us in anyway. That\'s only a Republican scare tactic.

A) We don\'t NEED that oil in our Gulf anyway, it would only increase our dependence of a fuel that we won\'t always have

B) They wouldn\'t slant drill, they have bigger fish to fry, and are such a poor country I\'m sure they Gov\'t could care less if some of their people were in the dark.

C) If B is not the case, we would know if they are slant drilling. Our intelligence may not be the best, but their heads aren\'t stuck in the sand. We have ways to monitor our borders, and offshore activity. Anyway, it\'s not our Government\'s problem. OPEC doesn\'t control the Gulf, private companies have bought rights to drill in the Gulf. It is THEIR responsibility to make sure slant drilling, or illegal drilling is taking place in their reserves.

Drilling rights in the Gulf
