overall rating 4/5 stars

Overall, good radio.

I have owned this radio for about 2 1/2 years now, no big problems. Great radio to start yourself off with, not to great a Noise blanker, but the DSP works great! A FB rig. It is one of the best mobile operating rigs on the market. I have used it as a base even and it can greatly compare itself to other rigs.

It has a fan that will run frequently, but that\'s only if you use the radio for a few hours straight.

A good purchase, not many are disappointed.

Thats a nice rig.  Thats what we used at the Beach for our special event station.  We used it portable by the pool and put a battery on the other side of the fence.   I would love to have one for portable use or at the base.  Its a lot of radio in one box.  Also when we were under tornado warning/watch we monitored NOAA weather and 2 meter ARES for info.

yep, it\'s quite the radio. 100 watts on 6 meters, 50 watts on 2 and 440. I think. I know for sure that it\'s 50 watts on 2, it might be 25 watts on 440. I\'m not sure.

I think it is 25 watts on 440.   Still a lot of radio in a little box.
