Thank for the welcome greetings.

I am an electrician by trade.  I normally visit other electrical trade forums, but found this forum a while back.  I appreciate the Christian structure since I am one myself.

I have been out of Ham Radio for several years.  Picked it up again last year when I was an over the road truck driver.
I am looking at upgrading now since things have settled down in my life.

Anyway, looking forward to some other forum discussions.

Well, glad to meet you Stewart.
One thing about Ham radio is it is a changing hobby. I up graded myself last December after 20 years. But having a blast on 20 meters. I still spend most of my time on VHF simplex and 6 meters.

The Christian forum used to be a hot forum here. Had a lot of members and a lot of bible studies took place. Then there was problems with hosting and software. I later closed the site down. Upgraded software and the Christian forum was moved to a new location and a new owner. I later then restructed the forums and added ham radio.

It is a little slow here. But the ones here are great guys.

BTW, I like the avatar. It appears to tell a story.
And again, wellcome.

Welcome.   IF there is anything we can do to help, just let us know.   Though, as Buddy said, it is a little slow, there is always a mod available for your needs.  Enjoy our little bump on the net.  :music334:

My brother and his family are in Concord.  My parents are in Mooresville, NC.  Not down there often, but if I\'m in the area what frequencies do you listen in on?
