Cheap China USB Microscope

The Radio Shop:
Let me say this. It is cheap.  The stand is much to be desired. It is a bit unstable. And since the zoom control is on the scope it takes a bit of practice to zoom in and focus on something.  So you have the combination of zoom and distance that control focus.  I have to have the lens within an inch (20mm) to focus on the part.  Which works ok for inspection. Not for working with an iron.

At work we have several Dino-lite units.  I can focus down the aisle at 200 feet and see the object clearly at that distance.  And the Dino-lite software is great to work with. However the cheap china made unit does not work with the Dino-lite software. It uses its own version called Cooling Tech….
