In this weeks video we take a second look at the TX-1. What does it take to get an old transmitter back up and running? Stay tuned to see it come back to life.

Great video Buddy, nice to see the ole' girl come to life.  I like the use of the tape measure too, and great IRON base for the CW key.

Buddy, Many years ago I had a Heathkit Warrior Amp. The Transformer smoked and I ended up using that chassis for another amp project. Somewhere around here, I'm sure I could lay my hands on them is 30 min. or less, I have the bright shiny knobs. I may even still have the bulbs and jewel pilot light cover. I don't do any restoration work on anything as old as that Heathkit line and you are welcome to them.

If you want them I can send them to your QRZ'ed address.

Buddy, the storm that hit Houston came within about 60 miles of me on the way out. We didn't get much wind, but we did get about 8" of rain. I just went out and turned on the AC in the shop and when it cools off I'll look for those knobs and parts.

I have a slew of parts from a radio shop in Jackson, MS that shut down after the owner passed away. Mose of it is GE and some is Johnson. It's all commercial stuff. Too much to list. I will try to take a pick of most of it to send you. If you want it I'll send it too.
