Hey Buddy!
I've received the ICOM RAM card adapter. Today it is snowing outside, so I assembled it and started to play. I've put regular header pins on it and found out that these are a bit short on the TL866II plus, but if I am careful, I can put the adapter card on the programmer without the extension.

Lets get to it: So I took the RAM card out of the IC-751 and read it, put it back into the radio and i've got some crap like 666.66 Mhz. Ugh the battery had gotten bad. On the EEVBLOG, I think CJ posted an ICOM RAM.zip file with a bunch of rw3xa Icom .bin's. Loaded that to my RAM card and voila the old radio works again! Perfect. I've programmed the RAM card as a Dallas DS1220. The files from that ham N2CBU, did't work for me either. All I get is programming error.

I've attached the IcomRAM.zip file from CJ.

So the RAM caused the battery to go bad?
