WV6Z Screwdriver Install

The title sez it all.......

The wire nuts have been replaced with connectors and covered with heat shrink tubing.

Not as pretty as Buddy\'s, but, it\'ll do 6 through 80 without having to climb up on the back bumper to change out Hamsticks now! :arf2:

HEy, What kind of orange juice do you use with your screwdrivers? :D

I always wanted to get a screwdriver antenna. But had to settle with a manual homemade job.

Maybe we can work mobile to mobile now bro.
Good job.

Get that rascal to tune up on 60m and join us on channel 4 from about 8 to 10am! It works GREAT, BTW only issue is RF on 10m, but for 10m I have a Lakeview colinear that can be seen on the rear drivers side of the roof.

Oh, if no one is around on 60m in the mornings, I sometimes check in on SouthCARS on 7.251 after 8am.

Hope to catch you too Chris...... mobile ops is such a blast I rarely fire up anything in the shack these days...... however, finding an excuse to be mobile all of the time does get expensive at the fuel pumps. :sadnana:

Let me know where you may be monitoring Buddy, I will schedule a coffee break around then so that we can try some mobile to mobile if you like.
