galaxy 77 hml

i have a galaxy 77 hml it only pickup strong stations the recieve is very weak.also the echo was working then it just stop.the radio dose recieve but i have to turn the volume all the way up to here if someone close talks i hear them somewhat ok but radios farther away i cant hardly hear them has anybody have an idea what i could check.

How about transmit? Does it work ok? Power out, audio? If tx is fine I thaink it is a front end issue. Maybe the first rf amp is gone.
Check tr17, D15 and D16

i replaced tr 17 and checked the others everything looks ok.the echo stop working to i dont know if this has any efect on thr recieve part

ok, since the echo has also stopped I would say there is some missing voltage from a stage....But where is the guess.

i checked the voltage going to the echo board and i had my 8 volts i ll try checking some others.i will let you know

thanks to you all i got the recieve back i replaced d 150 and the recieve returned.i am still working on the echo board so far i havent been able to get that straight yet.
